«The TAR Sardinia, with a decree issued this morning, accepted the appeal presented by our lawyers (lawyers Andrea Cossu and Jacopo Fiori) and therefore suspended, as a precautionary and urgent measure, the provision with which the Police Commissioner ordered the closure of the Soho to the public».
Federico Cordeddu , sole director of the Cagliari venue, who has recently come under scrutiny by the Police Headquarters , communicated this in a note.
"In the appeal - continues Cordeddu - we were able to clarify the real dynamics of the episodes on the basis of which, in a way that in our opinion was completely hasty and unmotivated, it was believed that there were reasons of danger such as to require the closure of the club. In reality, as was explained and documented in the appeal also through the images of the surveillance cameras, the fight that led to the injury of some people began and ended outside the area of our jurisdiction and precisely in the square in front of other clubs and businesses and which is therefore frequented regardless of the Soho nightclub". "Considering our reasons of urgency to prevail at the moment and on the basis of a summary assessment for the moment, the TAR has therefore allowed us, as a precautionary measure, to reopen the club starting today" , continues the nightclub administrator. "We are naturally satisfied, at the moment, with the developments of the story. It goes without saying – concludes Cordeddu – that we will continue to monitor order and safety in the best possible way inside and, where possible, outside our premises , having as always the main objective the enjoyment and safety of our customers».
