Marrubiu: Homemade Greenhouse Discovered in Home: Two Arrested for Drug Dealing

Homemade greenhouse: two arrests for drug dealing in Marrubiu. Carabinieri seized over 6 kilos of dried cannabis, a packaging area, and vacuum packing equipment . The two arrested are under house arrest. Yesterday afternoon in Marrubiu, Carabinieri arrested two people in flagrante delicto, believed to be responsible for illegal possession of narcotics.

The operation was planned for this time of year, notoriously best for harvesting, preventing, and suppressing illegal hemp cultivation. After several observation and monitoring operations, a homemade greenhouse was located next to a residence . During the search, the officers found seven Cannabis indica plants, originally about two meters tall, already dried and stripped of their inflorescences, weighing a total of 6.68 kg.

The search also uncovered a room used for drying the substance and a vacuum packaging machine. All the material found was seized. The seized drugs will be sent to the Cagliari Scientific Investigations Unit for qualitative testing. The two arrested individuals were placed under house arrest, pending the validation hearing and the summary trial, as ordered by the Public Prosecutor on duty at the Oristano Public Prosecutor's Office .
