Cagliari, rear-end collision on the median axis: two injured and traffic on tilt

Accident and chaos on the median axis of Cagliari , towards Sestu, just before 9am.

A rear- end collision , which took place before the junction with via Stamira, on the flyover of the via Peretti roundabout, involved three cars and sent traffic haywire .

Two injured were also recorded, rescued by the 118 operators who arrived on the spot together with the local police , and transported in yellow code to the Brotzu hospital and to the Holy Trinity.

To allow rescue, the median axis leaving Cagliari was closed , with traffic blocked and queues almost as far as Genneruxi and with cars diverted to the Pirri area.
