Evacuation this morning at the Marino hospital in Cagliari.

According to initial reports, due to a suspected gas leak, the building—which houses the offices of the Local Health Authority (ASL 8) and only a few departments— was evacuated by order of the fire safety commission.

Everyone present was transferred to the yard, and, according to reports, arrangements were also made to evacuate those unable to move independently. Fortunately, this wasn't necessary.

Numerous witnesses do not limit the smell of gas to the Marino area: reports also come from Quartu and surrounding areas, and hundreds of calls to the fire brigade have been received.

A phenomenon that had also caused alarm in the Cagliari area in recent days, when the Riva school in Piazza Garibaldi was evicted.

Now the question to answer is: what is the cause?
