If you were still wondering why traffic is often blocked in the city, just take Via Sonnino (and not only) in Cagliari at different times of the day.

On several occasions, the last one just now around 12.30 (protagonists of a Smart and two other small cars), the cars parked with the utmost serenity in double rows on a stretch with only two lanes create an obstacle that forces motorists on the move to occupy the only free space, on their left, closing the passage to others and therefore causing slowdowns.

It's not enough to activate the four arrows, as if to say: I'll just stop for a moment. It is also a question of good manners and respect for others. Which are in short supply in the city.
