There are those who didn't see the signs. Or those who, thinking that the New Year's Eve concert is on December 31, left their car parked in Largo Carlo Felice and in some surrounding streets where, however, a parking ban is already in force. And the tow truck is working at full speed, with the local police is issuing numerous tickets.

It happens in the center of Cagliari, on New Year's Eve. Many drivers will have to go and collect their cars from the depot on Viale Monastir.

But here is what the ordinance issued in recent days by the municipal manager Daniele Olla established. From 7 am on December 31st to 4 pm on January 1st, traffic will be prohibited on via Sassari, in the section between via Mameli and corso Vittorio Emanuele, on via Mameli (between via Sassari and largo Carlo Felice), on via Angioy, via Crispi, Largo Carlo Felice, via Roma portico side, via Sardegna (between largo Carlo Felice and via Napoli), via del Mercato vecchio, via Sicilia (between via Baylle and via Napoli), via Dettori, via Savoia and piazzetta Savoia, via Baylle, via Manno and the Corso (between largo Carlo Felice and via Maddalena). It will also not be possible to drive on via Santa Croce, but in this case only from 4 pm on December 31st to 4 pm the following day.

Furthermore, the mandatory left turn will be established at the intersection between Via Azuni and Via Santa Margherita, while those travelling on Via Mameli will have to turn right at the intersection with Via Sassari.

Parking restrictions

In Via Santa Croce, in addition to traffic, parking is prohibited on both sides of the street from 6:00 pm today to 4:00 pm on January 1st. During the same hours, parking is prohibited, both on the right and left, also in force in Via Sassari (between Piazza del Carmine and the Corso), Via Mameli (between Via Sassari and the Largo), Via Angioy, Via Crispi, Largo Carlo Felice, Piazza Yenne, Via Roma on the portico side, Via Sardegna (between the Largo and Via Napoli), Via del Mercato Vecchio, Via Sicilia (between Via Baylle and Via Napoli), Via Dettori, Via Savoia and Piazzetta Savoia and Via Baylle.
