Fears, but fortunately no injuries, erupted this evening around 8:30 PM in a fire that broke out inside a seventh-floor apartment in the Sant'Elia neighborhood of Cagliari.

Two firefighting teams from the Viale Marconi command center rushed to the scene, equipped with a fire engine and a ladder truck.

The flames, which started in the bedroom, were extinguished. The tenant was treated by emergency responders but did not suffer any burns.

After the remediation, checks were carried out on the stability of the structure.
