Moments of great fear in Via Sanna, in Cagliari, where a firecracker exploded at the entrance of an apartment located on the mezzanine floor of a condominium .
A loud bang shattered the quiet of the apartment buildings around 7:30 PM, dinnertime. Carabinieri from the Mobile Radio Section rushed to the scene, along with the Cagliari Fire Department.
Initial investigations revealed that unknown persons detonated a firecracker at the entrance to the apartment .
Fortunately , no residents were injured, although the explosion severely damaged the building's window frames .
The bomb squad was also on site, and further technical checks are underway to precisely define the nature of the device and gather evidence to identify those responsible.
