The fifteen-year-old from Cagliari who stabbed a peer three times on Saturday evening during an argument between Via Sicilia and Via Napoli , in the Marina district of Cagliari, remains in a cell in the Quartucciu juvenile prison.

The boy was questioned in the presence of his lawyer, Antonella Floris: his defense was to not answer the investigating judge's questions, but the young man, on the lawyer's advice, gave some spontaneous statements.

His words shed a clearer picture of what happened in the alleys of the neighborhood facing the port. The two fifteen-year-olds confronted each other, arguing, until the arrested man pulled out a thirty-centimeter kitchen knife and stabbed his opponent in the chest and arm . The two knew each other and had previously had a disagreement. It remains unclear where the weapon came from.

The injured man, from Quartucciu, was taken to Brotzu Hospital in serious condition: his life was never in danger, and he is now better. His rival's pre-trial detention was confirmed: he is charged with attempted murder.
