Cabras, the area where a pile of earth and stones was abandoned has been seized

Out of spite towards the Municipality of Cabras or has someone decided to dispose of the remains of an excavation for free and illegally? Maybe. In Cabras they don't just abandon plastic, glass and cans.

In fact, a few meters from the crystalline sea of Sinis, exactly in a dirt stretch that connects the coast of Mari Ermi to that of Is Arutas, the local police led by the responsible Barbara Poddi has seized the area where there is a pile of earth and stone. A story that did not go unnoticed especially last weekend.

Many went there for a walk in the open air. Souvenir photos are inevitable. The sign with the words "Subject to seizure" is on display. «The story began with a complaint presented to the Municipality by a private citizen - explains the mayor of Cabras Andrea Abis - Then there was the inspection by the local police and the immediate seizure of the area where the remains are present of an excavation done elsewhere, therefore not in the same place".

The investigations are therefore ongoing. The local police have already spoken to several people with the hope of understanding who, how and why someone wanted to dispose of that "waste" in those parts. Or maybe there are those who wanted to rehabilitate that stretch of road with earth and stones recovered from who knows where. The area under seizure was fenced off with orange tape. Trespassing prohibited.
