There is a suspect in the death of the Olbia entrepreneur Giancarlo Campus, 66, victim of an accident at work last Saturday in Olbia. The public prosecutor of Tempio Pausania, Alessandro Bosco, has entered in the register of suspects the driver who was driving the truck on which Campus, with a forklift, was loading sails.

The truck driver is charged with manslaughter.

The Olbia entrepreneur, owner of Sailboard, a company specializing in sails, was hit in the late afternoon of Saturday 14 September inside his warehouse in the industrial area of Olbia, in via Namibia.

Campus was operating the forklift and was busy lifting the large packages of sails that were supposed to be delivered to a customer, when the vehicle ended up on top of him, crushing him, probably due to an incorrect maneuver. In the meantime, we are awaiting the results of the autopsy on the body, which could provide further elements to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident.
