The rich calendar of Christmas events also includes the screening of films, themed workshops and entertainment for the little ones, but also many social moments dedicated to adults, such as the dinner in the square on 23 December.

During the entire holiday period , the center of Budoni will also be enlivened by the typical Christmas markets, open from morning to late evening, with a rich offer of typical products, Christmas objects, sweets and delicacies of all kinds.

But children are undoubtedly the protagonists of Christmas in Budone. The amusing morning workshops organized by the municipal playroom and the afternoon entertainment which will be held inside the “Andrea Parodi” municipal amphitheater are dedicated to them. As December 25th approaches, and as the wait for the exchange of gifts increases, the little ones will be able to deliver their letters of wishes to Santa Claus himself who, on the morning of December 24th, will make his exciting arrival on the traditional sled at the municipal amphitheater. On January 6, the inevitable presence of the Befana who, loaded with sweets and candies, will entertain the little ones in the amphitheater. There will also be original pastimes during the month such as the chess tournament for children and film screenings.

«This year children are protagonists even more than usual - comments the mayor of Budoni, Giuseppe Purcheddu - and they certainly deserve it: due to the pandemic that has marked the past years, the youngest among them do not even have the memory of a normal Christmas". However, the Gallura administration has many surprises in store for adults too, such as concerts, book presentations and an evening of dancing. Among the highlights of Christmas 2022 is the evening of 7 December with the Vochemundu in the Andrea Parodi municipal amphitheater, an event organized by Insulae Lab. And then the traditional Christmas dinner on 23 in Piazza Giubileo , offered by the Municipality with local foods. Budonese polenta, mulled wine, bread, cheese and sweets to exchange greetings and spend an evening of relaxation and fun.
