«I really hope that light is shed on the murder of my brother Mario, but I am worried that the three new suspects are still at large. I can't explain it, something that scares me."

Eleonora Sedda does not hide her doubts in the aftermath of the investigation which saw three new suspects entered in the register of suspects, opened by the Public Prosecutor's Office, in the killing of her brother Mario , the 39-year-old found dead on April 1, 2021 in via Sassari, hiding in the bushes after being stabbed in the cheekbone. "Even though there have finally been developments that give hope for justice," says the sister of the murdered man.

On Tuesday, searches began at dawn in the homes of three people in Porto Torres, two men aged 32 and 35, one of them assisted by the lawyer Luigi Esposito, while a third, the 19-year-old who was a minor at the time, he is assisted by the lawyer Alessandra Maria Delrio. They are all under investigation "because they caused the death of Mario Sedda by hitting and wounding him with a cutting weapon".

Following house searches, the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Operational Department of the Carabinieri seized computers, smartphones and electronic devices which will be subjected to an appraisal to look for elements useful for the investigations. None of them were subjected to any precautionary measures. For three years Mario's sister has been asking for justice to be done. «If you are parents, look at your children with your eyes, the same ones that looked at Mario while you were making the gesture, - states Eleonora Sedda addressing the suspects - if you are children, embrace your parents with the same arms that stopped my brother and ask yourself if it's right."
