Two cases in Orani, one in Orotelli and the latest in chronological order in Bottidda. Four outbreaks of contagious nodular dermatitis. And these are the confirmed cases in Sardinia.

Then there are the results of the first analyses on other animals: about ten possible cases that are under close observation and on which further investigations are underway. The cattle plague that appeared on the Island on June 23, for the first time in Western Europe, is increasingly frightening: here the first slaughters have already been carried out.

Then the virus jumped to Lombardy, brought by a Sardinian beast. And it also showed up in France, in Savoy, with confirmation arriving yesterday afternoon from the Ministry of Agriculture in Paris. Just as in Cagliari, home of the Health Department, a new ordinance was signed that re-parameterized the restrictions to try to stem the spectre of the spread of the disease.

The Bottidda outbreak has the identification number IT016SS049. According to the national veterinary epidemiological bulletin, it was confirmed as early as June 27. It is the fifth official one in Italy. After the three Nuoro cases (Orani and Orotelli), there was a fourth outbreak in Porto Mantovano, Lombardy, certified on the 25th and declared extinct on the 28th.
