One euro an hour and ten for the whole day. These are the rates, introduced in August, for parking in the Poetto racecourse car park, a space that's been taken over by beachgoers. A few days ago, the Cagliari city council granted the management of parking in the city's paid parking areas to the in-house company Parkar , also defining the costs for occupying the spaces.

Among the various parking lots is the " Poetto – Ippodromo " parking lot, located in the Via Isola di San Pietro area, off the road, so that parked vehicles do not obstruct traffic flow. The area, very busy this time of year, is open to the public, although a fee is required.

And today, the Mobility Director has established paid parking spaces in the hippodrome area. Here are the prices, valid every day from 8 a.m. to midnight: occasional parking costs one euro for each hour or part thereof, five euros for six hours, and ten euros for the entire day . Seven pink parking spaces have also been identified.
