Dolianova: Car crashes into petrol pump

There were moments of apprehension this morning in Dolianova. Shortly after 11:30 a.m., a large-engined car crashed into the gas pump at the Tamoil service station on Via Cagliari, at the entrance to the town.

The loud bang immediately attracted the attention of local residents, who used a fire extinguisher to put out a small fire.

The Carabinieri and a team from the Cagliari fire department responded to the scene and secured the area. The cause of the accident remains to be determined, likely caused by a mechanical failure. The occupants, who were rescued by an ambulance, suffered no significant injuries and escaped with only minor bruises.
