The turning point came yesterday: the Carabinieri executed a custody order for a third man accused of the violent robbery of last October 9th at the “Planetwin365” betting center , on via Cagliari in Sestu. And it is a name known in the news: the one who ended up in prison was Walter Camba, 63 years old, already sentenced to twenty years for the robbery at the Bevimarket on via Dei Donoratico in Cagliari in 1985, which ended tragically with the murder of the owner, and then also for the robbery at the post office on via Zagabria, in October 2017. Camba, assisted by lawyers Stefano Piras and Ivo Loi, had been free for less than a year.
The Carabinieri of the Quartu company and the Sestu station, at the end of the investigations, tracked him down in the Elmas area to take him to prison: according to the accusations he was the insider. For the blitz of a month and a half ago, Joan Florian Monne, 33 years old from Irgoli, and Paolo Todde, 63 years old from Cagliari, had already ended up in jail . But the hunt for a fourth man is still open.
