The newborn from Burgos who was born and found lifeless did not die of violent causes .

This is what emerges from the autopsy performed this afternoon at the Policlinico di Monserrato.

The little girl was born premature, with some organs still not fully developed . But she was born alive, emerges from the first reports, and it is not known how long she lasted before she died.

The child was found lifeless on Friday amidst blood and dirt in the house where the 28-year-old mother lives with her sister and parents, in an apparent state of malnutrition. She was born five days earlier , but the call for help came when it was too late for the little girl.

It is still not known when exactly she died, nor the exact reason. To get all the answers you have to wait for the results of the histological tests, the coroner asked for 90 days .

The examination was carried out by the coroner Alberto Chighine, appointed by the Nuoro Public Prosecutor's Office, and by the expert Nicola Lenigno, appointed by the defenders of the child's family. It ended around 6pm, lasted about three hours .

For the tragedy that shook the small community of Goceano there are four people under investigation , all those who live in the house where the drama took place: therefore the mother of the newborn girl, the aunt and the maternal grandparents. Abandonment of incapable is the crime hypothesis formulated by the prosecutors.
