The Davis Cup shines at the Porto Torres Tennis Club

Great excitement at the Porto Torres Tennis Club Clubhouse, where the Davis Cup, the famous "silver salad bowl," the most coveted trophy in world team tennis, made its stop, starring in the 2026 Trophy Tour. Won by the Italian national tennis team in 2023, 2024, and 2025, following an extraordinary season that brought Italy back to the top of international tennis, the trophy will be on display to the public free of charge in the Porto Torres Tennis Club Clubhouse, on Viale delle Vigne, from 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 3rd to 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 4th.
The Italian Tennis and Padel Federation has chosen the Turritan club, which boasts numerous awards for excellence, as one of the stops on the Davis Cup Trophy Tour, which has brought the famous trophy to clubs, squares, and historic sites across Italy since 1900.
The trophy was welcomed by the many club members, the board members, and the president of the Turritano Tennis Club, Stefano Caria. A unique emotion that transcended the borders of individual regions and reached Sardinia, at the tennis clubs of Tempio, Porto Torres, Iglesias, Nuoro, and Cagliari.
