Attempted murder in Nuoro: attacks the neighbor with a knife

A man in Nuoro attempted to stab his neighbor to death.
The episode took place on Monday in via Piemonte, the woman's son asked the police for help : he was on the phone with his mother when someone rang the bell in her home. He heard screams, then the communication stopped.
Alerted 113, the men of the Volante and the Flying Squad arrived on the spot. The lady had been attacked, for no reason, by a man who lives in the same building.
From what has been reconstructed, the woman opened the door and the neighbor threw himself at her holding a knife and managing to injure her hand as she tried to defend herself. Then he escaped retiring to his apartment: the officers found him there, he was in a confused state and kept repeating that he wanted to kill the lady.
Arrested for attempted murder , he was accompanied to the prison of Badu 'e Carros, the victim has been treated since 118.
