The alarm is growing in Sardinia after the latest arson attack against the mayor of Bono, Michele Solinas.

In the town of Goceano, still upset by the episode that occurred on Wednesday morning at 4.30, a city council will be held open to institutional representatives at all levels. The civic assembly is convened for Monday 6 February at 10.30 , at the mountain community, in the premises of the ASL health clinic, in viale San Francesco to discuss the issue of acts of intimidation of local administrators.

A meeting that calls together the various political representatives, starting with the president of the regional council, Michele Pais, the regional councilor for local authorities, Aldo Salaris, various regional councilors, as well as the parliamentarians Silvio Lai, Francesco Mura and Barbara Polo, the local mayors who will give support to the victims of attacks and will ask for a quick intervention by the Minister of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi.

"The mayors cannot be left alone" , was reiterated by many political representatives at the helm of local administrations. "The spiral of violence that has been going on for years without knowing an end, a criminal act that intends to undermine democratic institutions, will not achieve its objective," said the president of the regional council Michele Pais after the arson raid.
