The expert operations on computer equipment and cell phones seized from the 35 employees of Gesam, the Sassari waste treatment company, where the worker Antonio Masia was found dead on 25 July last, began this morning in Sestu.

For that death there is a suspect: the Public Prosecutor of Sassari has registered his colleague Fabiano Mario Saba , with the accusations of manslaughter, concealment of a corpse, arson and environmental pollution.

The prosecutor Maria Paola Asara, owner of the investigation, has entrusted the task of carrying out the appraisals to the technical consultants Giovanni Saba and Marco Partolino. Gesam, Saba's lawyer and that of the victim's family members also appointed their biased experts.

Useful reports to try to understand what happened to Masia: his body was hidden in the Gesam sheds and found at the end of the evening of 25 July by colleagues and family members worried about his disappearance .

Initially it was thought of an illness, but the investigation of the Flying Squad and the subsequent autopsy revealed that it was not a natural death .

In addition, on 6 August an arson fire completely destroyed the structure . The stake, according to investigators, could be linked to death : flames set, is the hypothesis, to try to hide any evidence of a crime.
