Three Covid positives in the class of the child of "patient zero"

There are three other Covid positives, probably linked to the first Omicron variant case in Italy. I am a teacher and two classmates of one of the children of the “zero patient”, Eni's manager from Caserta, the first Italian patient.

It was the definitive results of the new screening arranged on teachers and classmates of the two minors that revealed the new cases and now sequencing will have to be carried out to understand if it really is the South African variant.

For now, therefore, the cases ascertained are four: all in Caserta and linked to the manager.

Yesterday the Cotugno laboratory in Naples had discovered that the two children and the wife of patient zero were also positive for Omicron, while for the man's mother and mother-in-law it was not possible to proceed with sequencing due to the low viral load.
