Andrea Giambruno , former partner of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni , who ended up in the storm for the outbursts spread by Striscia la Notizia , was reported by the Council of the Order of Journalists of Lombardy to its territorial disciplinary council.

Giambruno, 42 years old, has been a freelance journalist since 2014 and the report was apparently triggered for "violation of ethical rules". The videos and audio shown by the satirical news program caused a stir, controversy and even the reaction of the prime minister herself, who publicly announced the end of their relationship with a post on Facebook.

For her part, regarding the matter, Giorgia Meloni stated, in response to a question from reporters during her recent trip to the Middle East: "I'm fine, I continue to do my job" .

On Sunday, however, she withdrew from the convention organized in Rome by the Brothers of Italy to celebrate the first year of government, entrusting her speech to a video message : «I am proud of what we have done, of us, of our ruling class and of myself, I can look in the mirror and still see the same person, I walked with my head held high, I didn't compromise ."

"The others - added the prime minister - should continue to roll in the mud, we will fly high". And then, regarding his lump sum, he explained: " I too am a human being , and if there is anyone I can ask for understanding it is the sympathizers, the representatives, the militants."
