Shock of magnitude 4.2 off the coast of Syracuse

Earthquake off the coast of Syracuse.

A quake of magnitude 4.2 was recorded at 3.34 in the sea area off the Sicilian coast.

This was announced by Ingv, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, according to which the hypocenter is 33 km deep. There is no news of damage to people or things.

According to what is learned, the resident population did not feel the earthquake: no phone call arrived at the fire department switchboard.
