Breaking point in the investigation into the murder of Sharon Verzeni.

The man who appears in surveillance camera footage while riding his bicycle quickly away from the scene of the murder in Terno d'Isola, in the province of Bergamo, on the night between July 29 and 30, has been arrested.

The man, Moussa Sangare, confessed: "I had a sudden fit. I can't explain why it happened, I saw her and I killed her."

The 31-year-old, an Italian of Maghreb origins, was tracked down by the Carabinieri and stopped in a house in the Bergamo area . The 31-year-old has other previous convictions for assault, not related to issues of crime or drug dealing.
