Late yesterday evening, the Italian Special Operations (DIGOS) police operation began in the province of Como, conducting a series of searches targeting around thirty young people, mostly minors, believed to be responsible for distributing some of the messages circulating over WhatsApp chats in recent days, aimed at planning raids on the central streets of the city tomorrow.
This is an investigation into the crime of incitement to commit a crime for the purpose of looting. Among those under investigation are many Italians and a few second-generation youths, with a few foreigners, aged between 14 and 24.
For tomorrow, also in conjunction with Como 1907's home match against Sassuolo at 3 p.m., police presence has been increased at all railway stations in the province.
