The man who stabbed to death a 61-year-old of Albanian origin during the night in Bibbiano (Reggio Emilia) risked being lynched. The crime apparently occurred at the end of an argument.

The victim had gone to the condominium where the alleged murderer, 41, lives to visit a niece.

The police intervened on the spot and took the 41-year-old away, saving him from the fury of around thirty people who were trying to attack him.

Heard by the prosecutor on duty, he was arrested. A kitchen knife, believed to be the murder weapon, was found and seized.
