"Bankruptcy and State Fraud": Prosecutors Request Santanchè's Trial

The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office has requested the indictment of FdI Senator and former Minister of Tourism Daniela Santanchè and 14 other individuals, plus a company, on charges of fraudulent bankruptcy, false accounting, and aggravated fraud against the State in relation to the bankruptcies of Ki Group, Ki Group Holding, Bioera, and Umbria srl.
The request for trial, formulated by prosecutors Luigi Luzi and Guido Schininà, with deputy prosecutor Roberto Pellicano, following the investigation delegated to the Financial and Economic Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza (GdF) and concluded in mid-July, will be assessed by a preliminary hearing judge (GUP) at the preliminary hearing.
