Dead within a day of each other. This is the story of the couple Angiolino Martinelli, 92, and Margherita Pasini, 89, married for almost seventy years. The Gazzetta di Modena reports it.

Originally from Modena, as Silvana, one of the couple's three children, tells us, the husband and wife then moved to the capital of the Emilian province and next August 13th they would have reached the milestone of 70 years of marriage.

The first to pass away, on Saturday, was her husband Angiolino, while yesterday, just 24 hours later, her wife Margherita also passed away. Both deaths were related to her advanced age.

Today at 2 pm the farewell to the man at the mortuary of the Policlinico of Modena, tomorrow in the same place that of his wife. Both will rest together in the cemetery of Acquaria, a town in the Modena area where Margherita Pasini was originally from.
