The investigation into Luca Morisi , the former communications manager of Matteo Salvini, who in August had been investigated for drugs after the Carabinieri, on the recommendation of two young Romanians with whom he had spent the night, had discovered a small amount of cocaine in his home in Belfiore.

The Verona Public Prosecutor's Office - writes the “Corriere” today - will shortly ask for the filing to be filed due to the "particular tenuousness of the fact". The request would be ready.

In particular, the investigators ascertained that the bottle of "rape drug" found would have been brought by one of the two boys, and not procured by Morisi.

Thus ends the legal matter that forced the creator of the "Beast", a social strategy that had won millions of followers for the leader of the League, to leave the scene.

THE FACTS - It was the night of August 14 when Morisi contacted an escort from Milan via chat, asking him to be joined at his home in the province of Verona for a payment of 2,500 euros. To reach him would then be two, both young people of Romanian origin, so the buzz. The following afternoon, at 3:30 pm, the call to 112: “There has been a theft, you have to come”. When the carabinieri arrive at the house they find Morisi and the two young people arguing in the middle of the street. One of the two phoned, accusing Morisi and delivering a bottle kept in his backpack that contains Lgh. "We consumed cocaine, he gave it to us", he declares, and so the search is triggered.

Morisi does not deny the military what happened, and delivers a sachet with the surplus of 0.31 grams of cocaine. Traces of white powder are found on two trays. For all three, the complaint for the sale of drugs is triggered.

So Morisi on September 1 resigns as head of Salvini's communication. He talks about "personal reasons", but a few hours are enough to understand that there is more behind it. And since it is no mystery that Morisi was not now well regarded by many for his aggressive social campaigns, the hypothesis that that paid meeting could be a trap is not yet ruled out.

The subsequent reconstructions, with Morisi admitting to having procured cocaine "for the evening" and the chats on the dating site that the two Romanians and Morisi himself had kept on their mobile phones and which show how the two boys actually arrived in Belfiore with the "rape drug", they will then lead to filing.
