The third car used by the bandits to escape after last Friday's attack on the Battistolli armored van in San Vincenzo, in the Livorno area , was also found late this afternoon.

It was in a remote area of Sasso Pisano, hidden in the thick vegetation, not far from the first car found by the Carabinieri, one of the two Volvos stolen months ago in Lazio and both found with license plates that were also stolen.

The car found today is instead the Volkswagen Tiguan stolen shortly before the robbery of a doctor in Orbetello (Grosseto). The man was in traffic when the bandits pointed a Kalashnikov at him, forcing him to get out of the car.

The investigations continue unabated, pointing straight to Sardinia , given the clear accent of the robbers that can be heard in the videos of the tense moments of the robbery.

It is not the only element that leads to the Island, the Carabinieri are also working on the theft of the vans used to block the armored vehicles between the San Vincenzo Nord and San Vincenzo Sud exits: vehicles stolen at the end of October last year from a Siena operator who transports horses and other animals throughout the country and abroad. The victim of the theft is known in the stables and riding school environment, frequented by many Sardinians for work reasons .

A robbery prepared for months and studied in minute detail by a specialized gang: Sardinian, according to investigators, so much so that the investigations involve not only Tuscany but also some areas of the island, in particular Ogliastra and Barbagia .
