Nicole's mother, the five-year-old girl who disappeared on Saturday evening in Sant'Angelo Limosano, in the province of Campobasso, and found safe and sound Sunday morning , after a night spent in the woods near her home, ends up under investigation.

The hypothesized crime, investigative sources say, is that of neglect of a minor.

The registration in the register of suspects took place in these hours and the same sources report that, at this stage, it is a "due act" and that the investigations, coordinated by the Campobasso Public Prosecutor's Office, continue without neglecting "any hypothesis".

According to the story made by the relatives after the alarm, the child would have brought a chair to the window and from there she would have leaned out to go out, taking advantage of a moment of general distraction.

At the base of the escape there would have been an unwelcome reproach from the mother.
