United States President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden paid tribute to Elizabeth II.

Arriving in London ahead of the sovereign's state funeral, scheduled for Monday, the US number one and his wife went to Westminster Hall for a prayer in front of the coffin of the monarch who died on 8 September at the age of 96.

The president of the European commission Ursula von der Leyen and the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella also arrived in the English capital, welcomed by the new King of England Charles III and by the queen consort Camilla at Buckingham Palace, where the royal family organized a reception attended by other leaders and the top of the British government.

Funeral events banned, however, for the representatives of Russia , due to the war provoked in Ucaina. An exclusion that Moscow has defined as "profoundly immoral" and "blasphemous".
