Donald Trump is seeking an agreement with Xi Jinping and cutting $400 million in military aid to Taiwan , as revealed by the Washington Post on the day of the phone call between the leaders of the two superpowers to seal the agreement on TikTok and more.
The US leader described the meeting as "very productive" during which "important progress was made on many issues, including trade, fentanyl, the need to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, and the approval of the TikTok deal."
"I will see Xi at the next APEC summit in South Korea, then in China in early 2026," the American president later announced to Truth. Beijing also described the phone call as "positive and constructive." Xi reportedly asked Washington's leader to "refrain from imposing unilateral tariffs."
