More than twenty, very violent tornadoes are devastating the central area of the United States in these hours, bringing death and destruction.

The state most affected is Kentucky, where as many as a hundred deaths are feared.

A dramatic situation, to the point that Governor Andy Beshear declared a state of emergency and ordered the intervention of the National Guard.

A force so devastating (“I've never seen anything like it in recent history”, the authorities explained) that in Kentucky itself the whirlwind has even derailed a train, while hundreds of buildings are uncovered.

Injuries and fatalities are also recorded in Arkansas, Illinois Missouri and Tennessee. Here, too, the authorities and civil protection have raised the alarm, fielding dozens of teams to bring aid to the population.

In Illinois, a tornado hit an Amazon warehouse, causing extensive damage. A hundred people remained trapped waiting for help.
