Trump cracks down on student visas: drastic reduction in stays in the US
Restrictions also apply to foreign journalists, here are the new rules.

Donald Trump's administration has announced a crackdown on visas for foreign students and journalists.
According to a statement from the Department of Homeland Security, the new provisions will drastically limit the length of stay in the United States.
NEW RULES – According to the new rules, visas for foreign students will be limited to the duration of their studies and in any case no longer than four years . For media workers , the permit will be valid for only 240 days , currently two years before renewal, and in any case limited to the duration of their assignment.
