Wissam Tawil, Hezbollah military leader and member of the Party of God, was killed in a raid

carried out by Israel in Kherbet Selem, a Lebanese town 20 km north of the demarcation line of the border between the two countries. The pan-Arab media reported this, specifying that Tawil headed a section of Hezbollah's special forces, the Radwan Forces.

For its part, Hezbollah hit an air defense center in northern Israel by launching a Kornet missile, which was apparently modified with the intention of increasing its range.
