Moments of tension and clashes in Brussels, during a demonstration organized to protest against the anti-Covid measures decided by the Belgian government and in particular in response to the ban on access to bars and restaurants imposed on non-vaccinated people.

During the march - which saw over 30 thousand people in the square - some groups of demonstrators, hooded and showing the flag of Flanders, tried to clash with the police, who used water cannons and tear gas to disperse the crowd.

The Brussels protest comes a few hours after the one enacted in the Netherlands and in particular in Rotterdam, a city also the scene of clashes that have led to dozens of arrests .
