New US raids on Qeshm Island, Iran launches missiles against bases in Kuwait and Bahrain.

The US, which yesterday disabled the oil tanker "Lexie" en route to Iran, conducted "defensive raids" on the island of Qeshm, hitting a radio tower. For their part, the Iranians responded by launching missiles at the ship "Panaya" and targeting Kuwait (twice) and Bahrain. "We damaged the US Fifth Fleet base," the IRGC claimed. "This is false," Washington responded. "All their attacks failed." According to Iranian TV, explosions were also heard in Iraq, and sirens were also sounded in Saudi Arabia.
The clash comes after a heated phone call between Trump and Netanyahu to halt Israel's escalation in Lebanon and the attack on Beirut, which threatened to derail negotiations with Iran. The furious tycoon reportedly called the Israeli prime minister "a fool," shouting, according to Axios, "You'd be in prison without me; everyone hates you!" Clashes and raids in the south of the country, however, continue, as do Hezbollah's rocket attacks into northern Israel: 13 attacks have been claimed by the Shiite militia.
