Israeli tanks have entered the Gaza City suburb of Sabra, Tel Aviv media reported, citing sources in the Strip.
Today's Israeli attacks have resulted in at least 34 Palestinian deaths in the Gaza Strip. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, a total of 71 civilians have been killed in the past 24 hours, including several children and eight people queuing for food aid, medical sources told Al Jazeera.
Meanwhile, an appeal comes from Pope Leo: "All peoples, even the smallest and weakest, must be respected by the powerful in their identity and rights, and no one can force them into exile." The Pontiff spoke these words while receiving the "Chagos Refugees Group" association.
