For the first time in Serie A this season, Fabio Pisacane made a change to the lineup on matchday five : for Udinese-Cagliari, compared to the previous four league matches, the Rossoblu coach brought on Yerry Mina for the first time this season. The Colombian, due to a delayed return from the World Cup and slight fatigue, had yet to play a single minute, including friendlies. Jacopo Fazzini made way for him, as Alessandro Deiola – Juan Rodríguez's defensive partner until now – returned to midfield, thus confirming the 4-3-2-1 formation.

Four players remain unavailable : Mattia Felici, Riyad Idrissi, M'Bala Nzola, and Yael Trepy. One of the players to watch closely for Udinese-Cagliari is undoubtedly Daniel Maldini , who, after a rollercoaster week (which began with the accident and the subsequent suspension of his license, but ended with his call-up to the national team along with Alessandro Romano ), is back in the starting lineup. He's joined by Michel Adopo, behind Paul Mendy, who started last Saturday's match against Atalanta.

Here are the official lineups for Udinese-Cagliari: kick-off is at 3:00 PM, preceded by a minute's silence in memory of Sandro Mazzola . Gianluca Manganiello of the Pinerolo section will be refereeing the match.
