The DNA test on Alessandro Zaniboni's body will be performed next Monday.

It will be the last act ordered by the substitute prosecutor of Lanusei, Giovanna Morra, to have definitive confirmation of the identity of the man found on Sunday afternoon in Bacu Tattis, in the Supramonte of Baunei.

The body, found by a hunter during a wild boar hunt, was almost completely decomposed. He was still wearing the clothes in which he had ventured out on an excursion 500 days ago .

Including the backpack on his shoulders in which the agents of the Tortolì police station, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office, found the documents of the 55-year-old technician originally from Grado who had arrived in Ogliastra to provide external consultancy services to the Arbatax Intermare.

After the recovery, the body was transferred to the sector room of the Nostra Signora della Mercede hospital in Lanusei, at the disposal of the judicial authority which, immediately after the disappearance report, had opened an investigation file.
