A road accident paralyzed traffic in the late afternoon today, around 18:30, along the State Road 131 DCN, just before the junction for Lula, in the direction of Nuoro. The block was caused by a collision between several vehicles, which fortunately caused only minor injuries, who were immediately rescued by 118 ambulances.

The Highway Police, firefighters and rescue workers intervened on site and managed the operations to secure the area and provide assistance to the injured.

The accident, however, had serious repercussions on traffic: long queues of cars formed, in particular for vehicles coming from Siniscola and heading towards Barbagia, forced to divert onto a dirt road to bypass the critical point.
