Sant'Antioco, a 58-year-old fisherman found dead in the port waters

Tragedy at Sant'Antioco . A 58-year-old local amateur fisherman, Roberto Brugattu, was found dead in the waters in front of the pumps of the former Sardamag, in the port area. When the report came, the body was floating face down.

The barracks of Sant'Antioco and the soldiers of the Coast Guard rushed to the scene. There are two hypotheses on the causes of the tragedy: an illness or an accidental fall caused by the strong mistral wind.

It is still unclear whether the victim was dragged by the currents to the place of discovery or if he was fishing nearby.
