Wounded baby deer in Porticciolo, the nearby campsite saves him

He was found in the water, lying a few meters from the shore, with a wounded paw. A cub of fallow deer in obvious difficulty in the bay of Porticciolo, in Alghero , risked dying by drowning yesterday.

Fortunately, the owners of the nearby campsite noticed the presence of the animal and immediately rescued it. The fallow deer, with a fractured and bleeding limb, was temporarily placed in the shade, waiting for the forestry agents who took it into custody and entrusted it to the care of the Bonassai center.

That small bay is often frequented by fallow deer, especially at night, when there are no bathers. The cameras of the Porticciolo camping frequently immortalize the animals as they refresh themselves near the drinking troughs that the accommodation facility wanted to place on the beach precisely to offer them refreshment, especially during the summer.
