A man has been reported as part of the investigations conducted by the Flying Squad of the Cagliari Police Headquarters into the numerous incidents of harassment of women that have occurred in recent months in the city , particularly in Via Giotto, in the Mulinu Becciu neighborhood . Another suspect has been identified, but there is not enough evidence to establish criminal liability against him.

According to the reconstruction by the police investigators - who, after several reports and after having collected the testimonies of the victims, have drawn a "map" of the areas where the harassment took place and a description of the perpetrator - there would not be a single, isolated maniac, but rather several people who have acted and act at different times. Some of them, from what we learn, have mental problems.

The targets are mostly single women returning home in the evening. Investigations are now continuing to identify those responsible for the reported events.
