With the car in the ditch, a dead man in San Gavino Monreale

Tragedy in San Gavino Monreale, where a fatal accident occurred this evening.

The victim is a 64-year-old man, on the spot the carabinieri of the Compagnia di Villacidro are working to reconstruct the dynamics.

According to the first findings, the man was driving along a country road behind the wheel of his Golf when he lost control of the car which ended up in a ditch, overturning.

The accident occurred just when the elderly man had arrived at the gates of the town, at via Po. The firefighters, the carabinieri and the 118 health workers arrived on the spot. The doctors tried for a long time to revive the man, but there was nothing to be done.
