Wind farms and photovoltaic systems from north to south Sardinia. The Ministry of Culture had said no, as had the Region, but the offices of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security had expressed their approval. And today at Palazzo Chigi , resolutions on thirty projects for the construction of renewable energy plants are on the agenda.

Wind turbines and solar panels are everywhere (including the port of Palau), and they could receive the government's green light. The list (below) is long. And in Rome this afternoon, Regional President Alessandra Todde will also be present, reiterating Sardinia's refusal to attack: "We will defend the island's interests tooth and nail," her staff said.

Here are the systems that need to be authorized:

  • a 60 MW wind farm called “Boreas”, to be built in the municipalities of Jerzu (NU) and Ulassai (NU), as well as related connection works
  • a wind farm called “Sa Corredda”, to be built in the municipal area of Sassari (SS) and the related connection works for the connection to the RTN through the future SE electrical switching station “Porto Torres 2” (SS)
  • an agrophotovoltaic system and connection works for the connection to the RTN, in the municipality of Sassari (SS)
  • a photovoltaic power plant with maintenance and improvement of the existing agro-zootechnical potential to be built in the Municipality of Sindia (NU) and the related connection works to the RTN
  • an agro-photovoltaic system called “Green and Blue Serra Longa” and related connection works, located in the Municipality of Sassari (SS) in the “Serra Longa” area
  • an agrophotovoltaic system, called “Green and Blue Serr'e Arena” and connection works to the RTN, in the municipalities of Palmas Arborea and Santa Giusta (OR)
  • a wind farm, called “Ischinditta”, and related connection works, to be built in the municipalities of Ozieri (SS), Chiaramonti (SS), Erula (SS) and Tula (SS), in the Monte Sassu area
  • a wind farm, called “Bruncu e Niada”, consisting of 14 wind generators and related connection works to the RTN, to be built in the municipalities of Ballao (SU) and Armungia (SU)
  • an agrivoltaic park, called “FS Sassari”, to be built in the municipality of Sassari (SS), in the locality of “Tanca la Campana”
  • an agrivoltaic park with a nominal power of 60 MW, called “Campanedda”, to be built in the municipality of Sassari (SS), in the Campanedda district
  • a wind farm, called “Pranu Nieddu”, consisting of 14 wind generators, each with a nominal power of 6.6 MW, for a total power of 92.4 MW, to be located in the municipal territory of Siurgus Donigala (SU) and the related connection works for the connection to the RTN falling within the Municipalities of Suelli (SU) and Senorbi (SU) through the electrical station to be built in the Municipality of Selegas (SU)
  • Project for the completion and rationalization of the commercial port of Palau (SS)
  • plant, called “Agrivoltaico Macciadosa”, with a total remodulated power of 55.55 MW, located in the municipality of Sassari (SS)
  • a wind farm, called “Luminu”, consisting of 17 wind generators, each with a nominal power of 6.6 MW, for a total power of 112.2 MW, to be built in the municipalities of Barumini, Escolca, Gergei, Las Plassas, Villanovafranca (SU), and the related connection works also falling within the municipalities of Genoni, Gesturi and Nuragus (SU)
  • a wind farm and related connection works, called “Escala”, located in the municipality of Escalaplano (SU)
  • a highly flexible pumped hydroelectric storage plant, called “Taccu sa Pruna”, located in the municipality of Esterzili (SU) and related connection works, to be built in the municipalities of Orroli (SU), Nurri (SU), Serri (SU), Gergei (SU) Mandas (SU), Escolca (SU), Villanovafranca (SU), Segariu (SU), Villamar (SU), Furtei (SU) and Sanluri (SU)
  • a wind farm to be built in the province of Sassari, in the municipality of Ossi and the related works and infrastructures also located in the territories of Florinas, Ploaghe and Codrongianos (SS), initially consisting of 5 wind generators with a nominal power of 6.2 MW, for a total of 31 MW, subsequently remodulated in reduction by the proponent with the removal of the OS4 wind generator, and with the same overall dimensions, with the installation of the remaining 4 wind generators with a unit power of 7.2 MW, for a total of 28.8 MW, without prejudice to the requirements of the specific environmental conditions
  • an agri-photovoltaic system, called "Ecovoltaico Nurra" and related connection works, located in the municipality of Sassari (SS), in the localities of "Guanne Abbas" and "Elighe longu"
  • a photovoltaic system, called "Cacip_25", including the related works for connection to the RTN, to be built in the municipality of Uta (CA), in the Macchiareddu area
  • a wind farm, called "Parco eolico Samassi - Serrenti" consisting of 11 wind generators with a unit power of 6 MW, for a total power of 66 MW, to be built in the municipalities of Samassi (SU) and Serrenti (SU), with a transformer station in the municipality of Sanluri (SU) and ancillary works in the municipalities of Samassi (SU), Serrenti (SU), Furtei (SU) and Sanluri (SU)
  • an agrivoltaic system called "Sassari 2", with a power output of 25 MW, integrated with a 10 MW storage system, to be built in the municipality of Sassari, in the Campanedda area
  • a ground-mounted photovoltaic system with a nominal power of 99.9908 MWp and related connection works to the RTN, to be built in the municipality of Villasor (SU), "Saltu Bia Montis" area
  • a wind farm, called "Nuraxeddu", composed of 25 wind generators, each with a nominal power of approximately 5.3 MW and related works, in the municipalities of Esterzili (SU), Escalaplano (SU) and Seui (SU)
  • a wind farm, called "Amistade", composed of 17 wind generators, each with a nominal power of approximately 6.2 MW, in the municipalities of Esterzili (SU) and Escalaplano (SU), and related works to be carried out also in the municipalities of Seui, Goni, Siurgius Donigala, Senorbi, Suelli, Selegos, Guamaggiore, Guasila, Segariu, Furtei and Sanluri
  • an agrivoltaic plant for the production of energy from solar sources in the municipality of Sassari (SS) called "Nurra 1" with a nominal power of 67.5402 MWp
  • a 54 MW “Telti wind farm” project with connection works to the RTN in the municipalities of Telti and Calangianus (SS)
  • an agrivoltaic plant for the production of energy from solar sources in the municipality of Sassari (SS) called “NURRA” with a nominal power of 35 MW
  • an agrivoltaic plant for the production of energy from solar sources, called “Serramanna 2”, with a nominal power of 27.1362 MW, to be built in the municipality of Serramanna (SU)
  • an agrivoltaic system for the production of energy from solar sources, called “Fattoria Solare Sa Pedrera” to be built in the municipality of San Gavino Monreale (SU)
  • an agrovoltaic system for the production of energy from solar sources, called “Villasor” to be built in the municipality of Villasor (SU)
  • a wind farm to be built in Sardinia, in the municipalities of Nughedu San Nicolò (SS), Ittireddu (SS), Bonorva (SS) and Mores (SS) with connection works and necessary infrastructures located in the same municipalities
