Traffic was blocked at the entrance to Cagliari following an accident on the Asse Mediano. According to initial reports, a motorcyclist crashed near the Via dei Valenzani junction, heading towards Poetto.
Emergency ambulances and local police patrols arrived on the scene to carry out emergency services. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with a yellow code.
Traffic disruption was inevitable: numerous cars remained stuck in traffic jams on the 131 dir on another nightmarish morning for city traffic.
